It sparkled with all the colors of the rainbow, and when {CHILD_NAME} held it to {CHILD_NAME}'s ear, {CHILD_NAME} could hear the ocean singing. {CHILD_NAME} knew this was a very special shell. Just then, {CHILD_NAME}'s best friend, {FRIEND_NAME}, swam up, looking sad. "What's wrong, {FRIEND_NAME}?" {CHILD_NAME} asked. {FRIEND_NAME} sighed. "I'm working on decorating my underwater home, but I don't have anything that sparkles! All the other mermaids have beautiful things, and my home feels so plain." {CHILD_NAME} looked at the sparkling seashell in {CHILD_NAME}'s hand. It was so beautiful, and {CHILD_NAME} really wanted to keep it. Are you sure?" {CHILD_NAME} nodded. "Yes! It's much more important that your home is sparkling and beautiful." {FRIEND_NAME} took the seashell and placed it on top of {FRIEND_NAME}'s home. It looked absolutely perfect! {FRIEND_NAME}'s face lit up with joy. "Thank you, {CHILD_NAME}! You're the best friend a mermaid could ask for!" Suddenly, the seashell began to glow even brighter. It split in two, creating an identical sparkling seashell! {CHILD_NAME} could keep one for {CHILD_NAME}self, and {FRIEND_NAME} could keep using the first one. Just then, {CHILD_NAME} woke up. The sun was shining, and {CHILD_NAME} could hear the seagulls calling outside {CHILD_NAME}'s window. It had only been a dream, but {CHILD_NAME} remembered the warm feeling of sharing the seashell with {FRIEND_NAME}. {CHILD_NAME} understood that sharing something special could bring even more happiness than keeping it all to {CHILD_NAME}self.
